There are many books available today that talk about scrap quilting and improvisational quilting, and each author has a different definition for ‘scrap’ or ‘improv.’ My definition is to create something without a lot of advance preparation and to make that ‘something’ from whatever materials are readily available. Out of the Box quilts often start with scraps from other projects – frequently combined with new fabrics - to create the adventure. There is no pattern. There are no rules. Improvisation is a journey of creation, and Quilter’s Store Sedona will be happy to help you get started on that journey.
