Twenty-two quilts hung outdoors and in the Gallery on this lovely spring day for our first Employee Quilt Show. Meanwhile inside the store, Tammy Kelly signed copies of her latest book, Quiltastic Curves, and demonstrated curved piecing techniques.

ANNUAL QUILT SHOW


Local quilters of Sedona generously displayed their latest quilts in the Sedona Public Library from December 28, 2007, through February 14, 2008.

A day of holiday music, decorations and fun as we celebrated the season with our annual holiday open house. Eunice Hill, teacher and designer was on hand to deomonstate paper piecing and Southwest patterns.

Arizona State Parks Foundation
3rd Annual Slide Rock Apple Fest


Saturday, October 6 and Sunday, October 7, 2007
9 am to 4 pm


Quilter's Store Sedona had a booth filled with small quilts and gift items for sale at the 3rd Annual Slide Rock Apple Fest. This year's evne celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Arizona State Parks. The park had a variety of exhibits and demonstrations throughout the day.

 

 

 
 

 
 

 

Northern Arizona Quilt Shop Hop
July 5 - July 14, 2007



Hundreds of quilters hopped from one wonderful quilt store to another at the Northern Arizona Quilt Shop Hop.

 

Participating shops this year included: Quilter’s Quarters and Bernina, Too (Cottonwood), Quilter’s Store Sedona (Sedona), Pine Country Quilts (Flagstaff), Odegaards’ Sewing Center (Flagstaff), Quilter’s Dream (Prescott Valley), Quilt n’ Sew Connection (Prescott Valley), Cloth Plus (Prescott Valley), Creative Pursuits (Prescott), Quilter’s Mercantile (Williams) and Fabrics ‘N Wooden Things (Williams).

 
     
 

     
 

Quiltfest 2007
The Red Rock Quilters Guild held their second Quiltfest this year on April 14 at the store. What a beautiful day it was with quilts hung all over the property in all sizes and styles. The guild's boutique out back was busy, while inside the store, festivities continued as well. It was another glorious day!

Quiltfest on May 6, 2006, was our first outdoor quilt show held with the Red Rock Quilters guild. More than 50 quilts were displayed throughout the property, while the guild members manned a boutique in back selling quilts and creatively designed handmade items.

Red Rock Quilters meet once a month on the second of each month at 9:00 a.m. at the Church of the Red Rocks, 54 Bowstring Drive, Sedona. All levels of quilters and fabric lovers are welcome.
