Join us in a series of workshops to build sewing and quilting skills for those 11 years old and up. Class sizes are kept small so each student will receive plenty of individual attention.
Sewing machine experience is required or bring an adult sewing partner.
Must have a sewing machine to bring to class and be able to thread the machine, fill a bobbin, change a needle, follow a pattern, etc.
Schedule
Choose any or all of the following classes:
Session 1 –Trendy Tote and Sassy Scarf
Fee $24.00
Sat., May 31 from 9:30 am – 2:00 pm with ½ hour lunch break
Pair recycled jeans with new, fun fabrics to make a fashionable bag and scarf. Then, personalize your trendy tote with your favorite embellishments.
Session 2 –Quillow–Two day class
Fee $36.00
Friday, June 13 and Saturday, June 14 from 9:30 am – 12:30 am
This quilt folds into its own pocket to form a pillow and construction is simple enough for a beginner.
Session 3 –Checkers Game Board
Fee $24.00
Friday, June 20 from 9:30 am – 2:00 pm with ½ hour lunch break
Here’s a project that you can enjoy with friends all summer long. Choose traditional red and black or your favorite colors to design your game board.
Session 4 – Zippy
Strippy Quilt – Two day workshop learning
machine piecing & quilting
Fee $45.00
Friday, June 27 from 9:30 am - 1:00 pm;
Saturday, June 28 from 9:30 am – 1:30 pm
Mix and match all of your favorite colors to make this fun quilt or just use two fabrics. For a scrappy patchwork look, try precut jelly rolls.

CLASS POLICIES
- Preregistration with full payment is required one week in advance. Refunds are given if the class is cancelled when the minimum enrollment is not met.
- Enrolled students receive a 10% discount on fabric and supplies purchased through the store for class projects.
- We require a 72-hour notice if you are unable to attend and with that notice we will refund or transfer your class fee to another class. No refund is available with less than 72-hour notice.
