The 2016 "Shop Hop" Passport Booklets are available now for $5.00 each at the store. The event runs from Thursday, July 21st through, Saturday, July 30th. Present your booklet at any participating shop for your "Shop Hoppers" discount (10% OFF all merchandise, excluding sewing machines). Get your Passport stamped at each shop and turn it in for a chance to win. Five shops in Northern Arizona are participating this year: Quilter's Store Sedona; Quilter's Quarters & Bernina Too, Cottonwood; Odegaards' Sewing Center, Flagstaff; Quilt n' Sew Connection, Prescott Valley; and Cloth Plus, Prescott Valley. There will be 9 Winner's Baskets and one Grand Prize awarded in August. We look forward to seeing you!

The 2016 Row by Row Experience kicks off June 21, 2016. Our shop row pattern this year highlights the desert landscape surrounding our Sedona home. Our row features rock formations indicative of the area, desert brush and cacti with peeks of blue sky. We used traditional log cabin blocks to frame the landscape. You can pick up your FREE row pattern anytime between June 21st and Sept. 6th. Kits will be available for purchase. Our 2106 FabricPlate is available to purchase online, by phone or in the store. We have received several quilt blocks for our  "Make Me Beautiful" challenge benefiting the Verde Valley Sanctuary (women's shelter). Response has been so great that we are extending the date to submit blocks through June. Stop by the shop and purchase any one of three fat-eighth fabrics ($1.00 each, cash only). Make a 9 1/2 x 9 1/2  finished block (twenty percent of the block must be comprised of the fat-eighth you bought). Completed blocks are on display in the shop; voting has begun and runs through July 31st. (The sooner you get yours in, the more opportunity you have for lots of votes.)

The "Viewers Choice" will win a $50 gift certificate to be used at the store;runners-up will receive gift certificates from Sedona's Twice Nice Thrift Shop. Raffle tickets will be sold for the finished quilt(s) with all proceeds going to the Verde Valley Sanctuary. The winner(s) will be announced at our Holiday Open House on December 3, 2016.
